Okanogan Behavioral HealthCare is seeking a highly successful and experienced provider to join our management team. An ideal candidate should be an experienced Psychiatrist or ARNP with management experience and have the ability to analyze a situation and make sound judgment calls. This person is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the medical practice delivery system in accordance with the organization’s standards. The CMO ensures quality patient care is at the center of all our service delivery models, staff expectations and performance, decision making, and culture. Responsible for developing and implementing procedures, policies and best medical practices. This person must be able to interact with all levels of the organization and see the big picture, possess excellent communication and relational skills and be accessible to staff. We are seeking a strong manager with a mentorship and coaching philosophy who is passionate about the mission of integrated health care while being equally passionate about the business side of the organization. We are seeking a candidate who is a self-starter with a strong commitment to team. A successful candidate should be comfortable working in a complex health care environment with regulatory demands and expectations.
We are a private non-profit organization located in scenic Okanogan County. Our county offers a wide variety of outdoor activities, including camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, skiing, snowmobiling, river rafting and much more! The Chief Medical Officer will carry a caseload of clients and be responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments and prescribing medications as needed, and will provide case consultation with clinical staff and community medical partners.
Requirements: Doctorate in Medicine or ARNP with board certification/eligibility in psychiatry and current Washington State Licensure with a minimum of four years clinical experience. Supervisory and management experience.
