Come be part of our team and join us with our mission to Transform Lives and help people on their way to recovery. Some of what you’ll do:  * Maintain confidential records for RN4 on assigned shift.* Documents and maintains records for assigned shift and collects and compiles data for the nursing department.* Organize and prioritize administrative activities for assigned shift.* Tracks information and maintains confidential data on personnel issues.* Accesses, inputs and retrieves data from hospital computer programs.* Maintain accurate and current staffing records.* Assists RN4 in obtaining sufficient staff resources based on hospital needs.* Completes timesheets for the assigned shift and provides back-up coverage to other MHT5’s as assigned.* Prioritizes and distributes incoming and outgoing communications.* Completes monitoring and reports findings as assigned.* Provide direct patient care as dictated by staffing needs and/or as directed by the RN4. What we are looking for: * In-depth working knowledge of group behavior and dynamics.* Experience in intervening and de-escalating crisis/dangerous situations.* Knowledge of all hospital, state, and federal regulatory standards, policies and procedures.* Ability to work with difficult or angry patients in a therapeutic, non-threatening manner.* Must be able to communicate effectively with management, peers, patients, and the public as required to carry out the assigned duties of the position.* Ability to work as a team member and to resolve personal conflicts in a calm, non-threatening manner.* Proficiency in the operation of the following equipment: computer, copy machine, metal detector, patient lifting equipment, and hospital emergency equipment as trained per scope of practice.Who should apply?Professionals with two years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse 4 and possession of a current Washington State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.   ORTwo years of experience as a Mental Health Technician 3.  Registration as a nursing assistant is required.Questions about this opportunity?
