Here at CareerStaff Unlimited, we are hiring a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse for a full -time contract position at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in Issaquah, WA! Qualified candidates must have at least one year of previous nursing home experience. • Hourly Comp: $36.00
• Weekly Comp: $1440
• Total Comp: $37,440

Position Details: 26 week contract, DAY and EVE shifts combined. Nurse will work every other weekend, first to float. Holidays in rotation.  LPN must have up to date health credentials; 2-step TB, current flu season records, MMR records. There are also 117 beds in facility’s unit.

LPN will also go through client-specific credentials. LPN must provide a copy of a negative COVID-19 test result with the sample being taken one week or less prior to the start date on all contract assignments. Results must be in hand in order to start the contract assignment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations
2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of care and current clinical practice, treatments, and interventions, specific to position specialty
3. Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
4. Promote patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals
5. Resolve patient’s problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies
6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations
7. Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism
8. Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public, according to position setting
9. Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
10. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
11. Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language
12. Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE LPN JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2 years of recent supervised experience in Long Term Care/Nursing Home setting
2. Licensed Practical Nursing degree from an accredited institution
3. Current CPR/BLS certification, Physical, TB test (within 1 year of hire)
4. Current Licensed Practical Nurse – LPN license in the state of employment or compact (multi-state) license
