The job duties for this position are as follows.Essential ResponsibilitiesVerifies patient information by interviewing patient, record medical history, confirming purpose of visit.Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical test, taking vitals, reporting and documenting patient history.Save provider”s time by helping with office procedures such as patient preparation, patient monitoring,Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulationsServers and protects Lynx Healthcare”s practice by adhering to professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state and local accomplishments.Vital Semi-Administrative clinical position which requires a good understanding of the importance of accuracy, attention to detail and EMR expertise.Update HPI and populate related labs, imaging studies, and testing results.Pull WA PMP (and two-state check) for each patientLoads pertinent information from previous note to the current visit.Prepares the chart in all manner for the scribe and providerAnticipates provider plans, order, and prescriptionsCompletes patient visit with risk/benefit description discussion of medications, procedures and referralsSchedule follow up appointments as needed.Explaining treatment pre and post op procedures to patientsCollecting and preparing laboratory specimensInstructing patients about medications and special dutiesTransmitting prescription refills as directed, call or fax prescriptions to pharmaciesClean and maintain instrumentsProvide patient education as directed by the doctor or other providerClean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointmentRequirements:Two years of healthcare experienceMedical Assistant certificationBLS/CPRAbility to work in fast paced environmentDetailed orientedKnowledge and understanding of medical terminologyFlexibility in work scheduleHigh standard of ethics and confidentialityBilingual (Spanish) preferred but not requiredJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 $19.00 per hourby Jobble
