Overview:St. Michael Medical Center is looking for an RN to join our team that will be moving to our NEW HOSPITAL in Silverdale! This 500,000 Square-foot hospital will be the most energy efficient hospital in Washington, and one of the most energy efficient in the US, consuming significantly less water and energy than the average hospital. It will provide beautiful views of the Olympic Mountains and Dyes Inlet. In addition, it will have a healing garden and Clear Creek trail running through the hospital grounds, encouraging walks and community connection as a healing process. Be a part of this ground breaking addition to CHI Franciscan!ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: Demonstrates competent professional practice and engages in opportunities for professional growth. Demonstrates self-accountability to meet stated deadlines for all mandatory requirements. Provides health care education and guidance to patient and their families. Educates regarding results, findings and diagnoses to patient and the patient’s family within scope of practice. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred. Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required.Previous Emergency experience or Critical Care experience within the last 2 years preferredCurrent licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) – CPR and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (1-month grace period allowed for ACLS if expired).Completion of a NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Provider) class is required at sites that do not provide labor and delivery services within twelve months of date of hire and must be maintained as current thereafter. Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) within twelve months of date of hire. Certification must be maintained as current thereafter. National Institutes of Health Strokes Scale (NIHSS) certification within six months of date of hire, and maintained as current thereafter.Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within twelve months of date of hire. Certification(s) must be maintained as current thereafter. CommonSpirit Health participates in E-verify.
