Nurse Manager Emergency Department

A brand-new opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager Emergency Department has just become available with a respected community hospital in beautiful, serene Washington State!

Reporting to the Administrative Director of Emergency Services, the Nurse Manager Emergency Department will oversee a busy 23-bed Emergency Room that sees nearly 40,000 annual visits.  The Nurse Manager Emergency Department will be responsible for 62 staff members, including ER Charge Nurses, Emergency Room Staff Nurses, and CNAs.

The Nurse Manager Emergency Department will be responsible and accountable for departmental standards, staff competencies, and overall budget. The Nurse Manager Emergency Department will ensure that the ED staff is operating at the highest level of patient safety and satisfaction. The Nurse Manager Emergency Department will collaborate with the nurse educator to provide ongoing education and evaluation for all of the department’s staff.
