A 120 bed Coastal Washington non-profit Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Manager over Medical and Pediatric units to join their growing healthcare organization.
The Nurse Manager of Adult Medical and Pediatrics will oversee a 18 bed Medical Unit and a 11 bed general paediatrics department.
The Med Surg Manager will report to the Director Medical Surgical and will be responsible for the twenty-four (24) hour planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily operations and clinical practice of General Medical department in order to provide quality individualized patient care, to patients ranging from neonate to geriatric on the age continuum.
The Nurse Manager of Medical Surgical and Pediatrics will also assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets, serve as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promote the maximum growth and development of each employee, support nursing research and assure patient advocacy.
