This is a Full-time position in Gig Harbor, WA posted May 11, 2021.

St Anthony is a designated Pathway hospital.

We have a unit-based council made up of frontline staff that work together to identify areas of improvement and implement change.

Unit Council Representatives also serve on the St.

Anthony Hospital Coordinating Council that work on hospital wide initiatives.

Responsibilities
Staffing:

The management structure of the unit consists of an experienced Clinical Manager and a Clinical Coordinator/Educator who work together to oversee the unit.

The Charge Nurses provide additional clinical support for the staff and help to maintain the flow of the unit.

The staff is comprised of RNs and nursing assistants.

Support services include: Respiratory Therapy, 24-hour Pharmacists, PT/OT, IV Therapy RNs, Dieticians and RN Care Managers.

RN patient assignments are determined by patient census and acuity.

Our standard RN to patient ratios are 1:5 with CNA support.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred Previous Medical/Surgical experience is preferred.

New graduates are also considered for residency positions.

Current RN license from the Washington State Board of Nursing Current Healthcare BLS Certification
