An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Nurse Manager of Oncology in Central Washington. The Oncology Nurse Manager will have the opportunity to be part of an amazing community hospital.
Reporting to the Director of Oncology, the Nurse Manager of Oncology will be a part of a large 150+ bed acute care facility that serves a diverse community. This hospital has one of the busiest Oncology Departments in the region and the Oncology Nurse Manager will be supported by a collaborative team of RN-s, scrubs, nurse supervisors,and more to ensure that the facilities’ high standards of infection prevention are met.
The Oncology Nurse Manager will develop, implement, and evaluate Oncology program goals and activities to execute day to day operations of the oncology department, infusion clinic, and various processes. This will include coordinating and developing procedures to ensure that standard process and risk assessment goals are achieved. The Nurse Manager of Oncology will also collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, executing timely and accurate reporting to the Director of Oncology, assess staffing needs, and ensure performance improvement. The Oncology Nurse Manager will provide education to staff, providers, and management.
