The Operating Room Surgical Services Staff Nurse RN will work with a tertiary-care medical center that has one of the most active and advanced birthing programs in Washington state and houses a Level III neonatal intensive-care unit.

The Operating Room Perioperative Services Staff Nurse RN will coordinate the activities of the health care team during surgical intervention while delegating duties as needed. The Operating Room Surgical Services Staff Nurse RN will relay information to the patient and family as appropriate, providing emotional support and comfort.
The Operating Room Surgical Services Staff Nurse RN will prepare the surgical site using aseptic techniques and initiate nursing actions based on physiological and psychological changes. The Operating Room Perioperative Services Staff Nurse RN will deliver conscious sedation, providing psychological support to the patient when needed.
