Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – Wound Care – Seattle and Federal Way

Job Number: 201280 Department: Wound Care Hours: 40 Locations: Downtown primarily with some potential for our Virginia Mason Federal Way Clinic Schedule: Monday-Friday Virginia Mason MedicalCenter is searching for an experienced ARNP or PA-C to join the Wound Clinicteam.

Seeking a full-time employee to provide services to outpatients andinpatients on a referral basis.

Schedule is currently inpatient on Mondays,Tuesdays and Thursdays which including rounding with the certified wound ostomynurses and outpatient on Wednesdays and Fridays seeing patients in the woundcenter as well as virtually through our telemedicine platform.

Provider will treat/manage a variety of acute andchronic wound types such as surgical wounds, diabetic and vascular ulcers,burns, osteomyelitis and other infections.

Treatment modalities may include butare not limited to: Sharp excisional debridement of subcutaneous tissue, muscleand/or bone, selective non-excisional debridement of nonviable skin, chemicalcauterization, punch or bone biopsies, initiation/application of NPWT, andapplication of skin substitutes.

Qualifications: Certification as a Physician Assistant with prescriptive authority in the State of Washington, or Washington State Registered Nurse License and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License are required for this job.

Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and National Provider Identifier (NPI) numbers may be required depending on the position, as well as prescriptive authority.
