US Ecology provides a comprehensive benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company match, Paid Time Off and much more!We are currently seeking a Solid Waste Driver join our growing team!Position Overview:Support NRC’s solid waste transportation operations by the safe execution of fieldwork encompassed in the transportation and unloading of solid waste.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* Perform assigned tasks with little to no supervision.* Exercise proficient knowledge of walking floor trailers.* Understand and comply with company and client safety standards.* Safely drive and perform safety checks on all NRC vehicles as required.* Perform cleaning of walking floor trailers as required.* Follow directions; read/write/speak and understand English; read and understand common hazardous warning literature including site safety plans.* Timely and accurate completion of all job-specific, employee related NRC paper work including Timesheets and Daily Work Reports.* Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:* High School or GED (or equivalent reading, writing and reasoning skills* 2-5 years of experience performing directly related work (walking floor trailer experience).* Valid Class “A” License with Haz endors and a clear DMV Record.* Must possess basic computer skills.* Must have a consistent and reliable work ethic by adhering to work schedules utilizing time efficiently in order to complete assigned tasks within defined deadlines.* Must be willing and able to travel and work extended hours including on-call rotation shifts in order to meet operational demands.Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well continued verifications throughout employment to ensure that all records meet company policy standards.US Ecology is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a drug free work environment to all employees and applicants without regard to race, religion, color, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, ancestry, citizenship status, uniform service member status, marital status, pregnancy, age, protected medical condition, genetic information, disability or any other protected status in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.EOE – Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
