Description: Providence is calling a Registered Nurse (RN) (Day Shift, 0.7 FTE) to support Transitional Care at Providence Mount St.
Vincent in West Seattle, Washington.
Day shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm.

You will provide direct patient care to short stay, sub-acute patients upon discharge from the hospital as well as long term care residents.
Enteral Tube feedings Maintenance of IV lines (Midline, PICC, Port of Cath) Tracheostomy Care Wound Care (wound vacs, drains, dressing changes) Palliative and End of Life care Educating patients, families and staff on disease processes Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of employment Current Washington State Food Worker Card or obtain within 14 days of hire 1 year nursing experience in a Long Term/Transitional Care setting Proficient in English written and verbal communication skills Strong verbal communication and listening skills Effective interpersonal skills Excellent collaboration and team building skills Effective coaching and delivery of constructive feedback Flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Preferred qualifications for this position include: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) 1 year previous charge nurse or primary nurse experience, including leading teams 1 year nursing experience in an environment that provides person-directed care About the ministry you will serve.
