This is a Full-time position in Tracyton, WA posted July 4, 2021.

Description: Swedish Medical Group is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Surgery Center (1.0 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to work in Redmond ASC at Swedish Medical Group in Redmond, WA.

Schedule is Monday-Friday; hours vary between 6:30am-7pm PST.

NO WEEKENDS, HOLIDAYS or ON-CALL rotations.

The Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Surgery Center provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in the ASC.

Specialties include Outpatient Surgery, General Surgery, ENT, and Colorectal.

Accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.

$5,000 Sign-On Bonus (Externals Only) and Relocation Available.

FREE ON-SITE PARKING also provided In this position you will: Assesses, identifies appropriate nursing diagnoses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care.

Develops, updates and coordinates the patient’s plan of care to achieve patient goals and to optimize outcomes and transitions across the care continuum.

Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

Appropriately delegates to others as license permits, coordinates care and collaborates with others as a team.

Effectively advocates for ethical and holistic care by partnering in care planning to promote the autonomy, dignity, rights, values and beliefs of those we serve.

Provides health education within own level of expertise and as directed by practitioner and nurse supervisor.

Ensures that information is understood by the patient or family.

Accountable for safety, identifies and corrects problems, and integrates evidence, and best practice into nursing care; uses data and evidence to improve patient outcomes.

Aligns patient safety, self-safety and environmental safety as equally important for best outcomes.

Engages in ongoing professional development; practices to the top oflicense within the legal parameters and specialty standards.

Promotes a culture of inquiry that explores, integrates and disseminates research and evidence based practice.

Qualifications: Required qualifications for this position include: Graduate of accredited school of registered nursing Current WA State RN Licensure Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be from American Heart Association (AHA) or Military Training Network (MTN Preferred qualification for this position include: Bachelors degree in nursing One (1) year procedural/surgical setting experience About Swedish Medical Group: Swedish Medical Group (SMG) is a successful, performance-driven division of Swedish Health Services, the largest non-profit health provider in the Greater Seattle area.
