An exciting opportunity has just arisen for a Stepdown Nurse Director in Central Washington. The Stepdown Nurse Director will have the opportunity to be part of an amazing community hospital.
Reporting to the CNO, the Stepdown Nurse Director will be a part of a large 150+ bed acute care facility that serves a diverse community. This hospital has one of the busiest Oncology Departments in the region and the Stepdown Nurse Director will be supported by a collaborative team of RN-s, scrubs, nurse supervisors,and more to ensure that the facilities’ high standards of infection prevention are met.
The Stepdown Nurse Director will develop, implement, and evaluate Progressive Care program goals and activities to execute day to day operations of the PCU department and service lines which include ED and Critical Care. This will include coordinating and developing procedures to ensure that standard process and risk assessment goals are achieved. The Stepdown Nurse Director will also collaborate with leadership to ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting agency requirements, executing timely and accurate reporting to the CNO, assess staffing needs, and ensure performance improvement. The Stepdown Nurse Director will provide education to staff, providers, and management.
