Virginia Mason Memorial: Registered Nurse (Rn) – Med/Surg Ortho

We are looking for are an RN to join our team on 5 East/West 5 East/West is a 42-bed med/surg unit serving primarily post-op orthopedics surgery patients, but also general surgery and medical patients.

5 E/W is a fast-paced floor that relies on teamwork to meet the needs of every patient.

RNs on 5 E/W enjoy the full support of Shift Coordinators, Assistant Nurse Managers, and NACs – both day and night.RNs at Virginia Mason Memorial also enjoy support from a 24-hour Lift Team, 24-hour Respiratory Team, Pharmacy (24-hour med mixing), IV Therapists, Social Workers and Chaplains.Have questions about this role?

The RN is accountable to deliver care as well as to oversee and delegate to other personnel (clinical & non-clinical) in delivering/supporting the delivery of care.QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTSEducation: Associate’s degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.Experience: Previous acute care nursing experience preferred.Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Washington State (DOH) Registered Nurse licensure required.
