The practice site for these positions includes opportunity atour main campus in downtown Seattle as well as at our Regional Medical Centers in the suburbs of Seattle. Our tertiary care hospital and medical center is an integrated health system with access to eight additional regional medical centers and growing. Our Virginia Mason downtown Seattle facility is the hub of specialized and subspecialized gastrointestinal care. We are expanding our gastrointestinal service line. We will be expanding operationally and also our academic presence and existing centers of excellence. Excellent opportunity with primary focus on caring for patients in a collegial team environment with superb support staff, and easy access to primary care and fellow medical and surgical specialists. The GI Section has a new state-of-the-art endoscopy procedure floor in the new medical center, adjacent to the current hospital, and adjacent to interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will be an exceptional and experienced clinician with excellent communication and team building skills with a strong commitment to patient and team-centered care. The ideal candidate will also have the motivation to build a practice. Preference given for candidates interested in teaching, research activities, and team-oriented medicine. The ideal candidate will also support our innovative process improvement work with its focus on improving the patient experience, eliminating waste and transforming healthcare; an integral part of theVirginia Mason culture.Qualifications: BC/BE ingastroenterology Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA.
