The practice site for these positions includes opportunity atour main campus in downtown Seattle as well as at our Regional Medical Centers in the suburbs of Seattle. Our Virginia Mason downtown Seattle facility is a hub of specialized and subspecialized gastrointestinal care along with our eight regional medical centers. We are expanding our gastrointestinal service line and will be expanding operationally and our academic presence and existing centers of excellence. Excellent opportunity with primary focus on caring for patients with inflammatory bowel disease in a collegial team environment with superb support staff, and easy access to primary care and fellow medical and surgical specialists. The GI Section has a new state-of-the-art endoscopy procedure floor in the new medical center, adjacent to the current hospital, and adjacent to interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will be a mid-career, experienced clinician with excellent communication and team building skills with a strong commitment to patient and team-centered care. The ideal candidate will also have the motivation to build and expand our existing IBD clinical program and Center of Excellence within the GI service line. Preference given for candidates with leadership experience, interested in teaching, research activities, and team-oriented medicine.
