GAMING LICENSE REQUIRED: Class III BGRADE: N4 / $13.500POSITION REPORTS TO: Room Chef, Steward Supervisor, Asst. Executive Steward, Executive StewardJOB SUMMARY: The Dishwasher is responsible for washing/cleaning tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment and keeping dish area & equipment clean and organized.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The statements describe the general nature and level of work only. Other duties may be added, or this description may be amended, at any time.1.Practice, support and promote the Mission, Vision and Values of Muckleshoot Casino.2.Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.3.Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.4.Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean, sanitary and orderly condition.5.Create, maintain and facilitate a positive work environment.6.Smile and engage Guests and Team Members with a positive professional demeanor.7.Perform other duties as assigned.LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS (required/preferred):* Must maintain a valid WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING FOR POSITION (required/preferred):* High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.* Entry level training provided for candidates who demonstrate passion for guest service; motivation to learn; and a professional demeanorSPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR POSITION:* Demonstrate team work, a positive attitude, and a well-groomed appearance.* Demonstrate efficient, organized, and healthy work habits.* Demonstrate ability to comprehend and follow oral and/or written instruction. Manual dexterity to operate office or required equipment and examine or update documents, records, data, instructions, logs, and files.May have regular exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and wet, liquid or water elements. Must be able to bend, reach, squat, push, pull and/or lift at least fifty (50) to one hundred (100) pounds regularly. Work in tight spaces and/or confined spaces. Must be able to reach with hands or arms, use hands to grasp and finger dexterity to handle objects, tools, controls, or equipment parts.MENTALSocial perceptiveness to assess and understand other’s reactions and behavior. Critical thinking to use logic and reasoning, reach conclusions/solutions. Comprehension in assessing, analyzing, and processing alpha, numeric, and visual data and completing required tasks or documents accurately.
