Travel or Local School Psychologist 2021-2022 School Year- Spanaway, WA- Interviewing ASAP

CareStaff Partners is currently interviewing two (2) School Psychologists for a contract position at a School District near Seattle, WA for the 2021-2022 School Year.

• Student Population: K-12
• Hours Per Week: 40

Job Duties and Role Responsibilities:

As a School Psychologist you will collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to improve classroom management strategies and/or parenting skills; address mental health issues; assess, identify and work with students with disabilities. Other job duties for a School Psychologist may include:

• Participate in special education by administering psychological tests
• Providing input to Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) team
• Listen to concerns about academic, emotional or social problems
• Help students process their problems and plan goals and action
• Promote positive behaviors
• Meet with parents and teachers to discuss learning, behavioral, familial and social problems
• Study and implement behavioral management techniques
• Research and implement learning programs
• Evaluate and advise school disciplinary practices
