Outside Sales Representatives at Paycom are responsible for contacting prospects and securing new business accounts.

They will sell the Paycom suite of Human Capital Management technology products and services to clients in an assigned region.RESPONSIBILITIESBuilding and maintaining long-lasting client relationships with prospects within assigned territoryCold call potential clients according to the assigned metrics and respond to Inside Sales leads of companies with 50 employees or moreEstablish new accounts by forecasting sales, researching, setting appointments, and presenting with the intent to persuade stakeholders to the Paycom solutionGenerating leads through prospecting and building a consistent pipeline to meet sales goals for new businessSustain a pipeline of suitable appointments and move prospects through the sale process quickly and efficientlyMaintains knowledge of Paycom products and servicesResponsible for completing the Sales Representative training while maintaining and/or exceeding assigned metricsParticipates in weekly sales topics to continue to enhance product knowledgeGenerate and develop new client accounts to increase revenueAssist with and attend first implementation meeting for all new clientsAnticipate and discuss client needs and facilitate solutionsPerforms other duties as assignedEducation/Certification:Bachelor’s degree required.Experience:0 – 3 years of experience in a competitive environment with a record of success exceeding goals which may be demonstrated through previous sales work, competitive internships, exceling in collegiate sales competitionsSkills/Abilities:Customer Service: Ability to analyze the needs of a client and provide strategic business solutionsExperience with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and OutlookAchieves/exceeds appointment and Sales MetricsExcellent written and verbal communicationHighly motivated and results-orientedStrong presentation, organization, multitasking, and time management skillsSolid problem solving and consultative skills requiredSelf-directed with the ability to work in a structured and fast-paced team sales environmentProduct and payroll knowledge is a plusPaycom is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
