Job Description
Bilingual fluent in English/Spanish Recruiter & Safety Coordinator position functions in two different roles. Preferred experience in the landscape industry with knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, along with full cycle recruiting experience preferably in the staffing and/or landscape industry.
Recruiting Coordinator role functions – have thorough knowledge of HR best practices and have innovative ideas. Have strong communication skills and are confident as a headhunter and able to manage our full recruitment cycle to ensure we always meet our staffing requirements.
Safety Coordinator job functions – responsible for monitoring the working conditions to ensure that all activity is compliant with state and federal safety regulations. The Safety Coordinator enforces company health and safety guidelines, inspecting workspaces and products or equipment to ensure they are up to safety standards, also providing workplace safety training and tailgate safety meeting management.
Responsibilities and Duties
? Manage and implement overall recruiting strategy
? Consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives
? Source candidates by using databases and social media
? Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters
? Conduct phone, Skype and/or in-person interviews with candidates
? Bilingual communication skills in English / Spanish required
? Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions
? Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met
? Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires
? Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods
? Conduct new hire and safety orientations
? Tailgate safety meeting record keeping
? Stay up to date on new state and federal health and safety regulations.
Position is based out of Kent, Washington office.

Job Requirements:
- Recruit to fill open positions for internal Hiring Managers, both in the landscape construction and maintenance divisions
- Use various recruiting platforms to find qualified candidate
- Preform screening and vetting out process on candidates
- Conduct phone and in person interviews
- Conduct New Hire and Safety Orientations
- Complete all New Hire paperwork and onboarding
- Work closely with Human Resource department
- Work closely with internal department managers for staffing and safety needs
- Perform safety and environmental inspections when necessary
- Interpret accident prevention programs, safety manuals and safety policiesd
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations
- Reviewing company safety programs for compliance
- Review all safety and environmental policies
- Implement health and safety training programs
