The 2021 Analytics & Sales Externship is open to students graduating in 2023 who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American, and/or first-generation college students.
The ideal candidate has an understanding of the drivers behind market moving stories and events.
You’re a solution-finder, with a real passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
With a desire to build a career in a client-facing role, you understand the importance of credibility and building relationships.
Our signature exploratory program, the Bloomberg Externship gives you exposure to financial markets, access to Bloomberg leadership, professional development training, and priority when applying to our 2022 Summer Internship program
– all while experiencing a unique company culture built on our values of diversity, inclusion and philanthropy.
Over three days, you will be exposed to a wide array of topics, people and activities, including:
– An introduction to the Bloomberg Terminal and its functionality as well as an introduction to financial markets
– Experience a day in the life of a sales professional
– Professional development courses including interview and presentation tips
– Hear from our Diversity & Inclusion leaders about Bloomberg’s efforts to build a more inclusive workplace
– Engage with former externs to learn about their experiences and the successful launch of their careers
– Experience Bloomberg’s culture of service by participating in a community event with Bloomberg Philanthropies
At the end of your Bloomberg Externship, you will have expanded your professional network, deepened your understanding of the financial markets, developed your professional skills and interview techniques, and gained the opportunity to secure a 2022 Summer Internship.
The event will focus on providing an overview of Bloomberg, the Analytics & Sales department, and the program specifics.
