ADAS/AD Software Engineer Michigan

FEV North America Inc., is seeking a qualified ADAS/AD software engineer to join our ADAS/AD group as a full-time employee.

A FEV software engineer gathers system requirements, creates specifications, and utilizes their technical skills to design, develop, and validate solutions for ADAS/AD programs.

Expect exposure to platforms ranging from low cost microcontrollers to high end, multicore processors.

The software engineer will simultaneously be involved in multiple projects as well as having direct interaction with customers.Responsibilities and/or Duties:Develop and maintain embedded C/C++ software, work in the embedded Linux environment, develop in Qt, implement vehicle bus communication drivers and application software, perform software integration work and develop within the ROS environmentProficient with C/C++ working knowledge of embedded software development tools such as compilers, debuggers and simulators.The candidate will be contributing to build L3 Autonomous driving vehicle.Working knowledge of low-level driver software development on automotive Develop custom software solutions in both team and lone environments.

Identify software tools and techniques that will benefit the project.

Manage code quality control and validation.Working on leading-edge vehicle systems such as ADAS/AD.

Integration of electronic control units into various applications.Designing and troubleshooting vehicle electrical systems, components, and wiringWorking knowledge of ADAS/AD features: AEB, Lane Centering, Client, Lane Line detection.Position Requirements and Qualification:BS or/and MS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering3-5 Years’ Experience in Autonomous drivingADAS /AD Software development and testing.ADAS/AD Feature Testing
– Euro NCAP Testing.Matlab/Simulink, ROS, C/C+ (must have)Test cases development.ADAS/AD Benchmarking.AutoSAR / Adaptive AutoSAR.
