We are a nationally recognized non-profit with 50+ locations across Washington State that provides a chance for change to over 3,000 people on any given day.WHAT YOU’LL DOThe Quality Improvement & Operations Support Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts and providing Operations support leadership within Pioneer Industries plants 1 and 2 Aerospace, Space & Defense programs. This role is focused on identifying and improving the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiencies, optimize cost reduction opportunities and increase customer satisfaction. This role will provide leadership and oversight to Production Control and Supply Chain personnel and play a key role in Supplier performance and managementPrimary duties and responsibilities include:* Lean and Quality Improvement Initiatives* Leadership, Training, Supervision and Oversight* Operational Performance Support* Additional Duties as AssignedWHAT YOU’LL BRING(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)* 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing and Operations setting (focus on Supply Chain, Purchasing, Supplier monitoring and Performance etc)* 6+ years’ Demonstrative knowledge of legal standards/contract review including aerospace manufacturing processes and specifications and Quality Control (FAA, DoD and Space sectors a plus)* Demonstrated Proficiency with ERP/MRP software applications.* 5+ years’ experience in a Leadership capacity* 3 + years’ experience leading and training on LEAN methodologies and Kaizen events.
