We work with proprietary customers in the development of the next-generation technologies in space.

Phantom Works focuses on rapid prototyping to demonstrate a host of mission-focused technologies for a variety of customers.

Our group works all facets of engineering from technology investment, concept development, proposal writing, requirements and design, build, integration, test, and demonstration of products in their relevant environments.Position Responsibilities:Maintain a system architecture in compliance with our customer?s requirements and mission needsDevelop verification plans for a space systemPerform analyses and trades in support of a rapid prototype space systemAnalyze, verify, and validate system level performanceAnalyze, verify, and validate performance of hardware and software components a space systemDecompose subsystem level requirements from system level requirementsDevelop use cases and sequence diagramsAuthor interface control documents (ICDs)Support planning for and execution of subsystem and vehicle-level integration and test campaignWork locations will include sites that are within ~10 miles of Tukwila, WAThis position requires an active Top Secret U.S.

Security Clearance.

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Minimum BS degree in Engineering, Physics or related technical course of study is required9+ years of experience working in systems engineering for space systemsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with spacecraft and/or space systems architectureExperience in development, build and test of spacecraftExperience developing test plans, procedures, and scriptsExperience with agile development processes and methodsExperience in a dynamic rapid prototyping environmentPrior history working in a classified environmentSSBI investigation highly desiredExperience with EVMSFamiliarity with collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Typical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.G.

Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.G.

PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience).

In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
