Develop, configure, and test programs, systems and solutions in order to meet defined digital product specifications and direction.

Duties include: solve complex problems and work on new perspective on existing solutions; develop and program computer software applications using various components of the Big data ecosystem; work from start to finish on life cycles projects; analyze and design system, which includes preparation of process flow diagrams, entity relationship diagrams, file design, program specifications and design document; identify deficiencies, troubleshoot problems and support user needs on test planning, defect tracking for software applications; and interpret customer needs, assess requirements and identify solutions to non-standard requests.

Applicant must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Experience must include: Hadoop & big data ecosystem tools; Hive, Spark, HBase, Nifi, Elasticsearch, Kibana, Splunk and Kafka; Delivery of data products in various programming languages, such as Python, Scala, and Golang; AWS Lambda, Kinesis, EMR, DynamoDB, VPC, and microservices; Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git; Leverage tools/frameworks, like SignalFx, Splunk, New Relic, Slack and PagerDuty; and APIs, Domain Microservices, and REST/gRPC protocols.

OR Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
