Oracle PoS Support Lead – Technical position

Job Description

What You-ll Do As: PoS Support Lead

  • At least 5 years- experience with retail or retail-related technology and processes
  • Experience in Retail Store Systems (e.g., POS, Inventory, Merchandising, Promotions, Discounts, Mobile) design, implementation, and/or support experience a must
  • Experience in Micros/Oracle Simphony PoS or similar experience in menu building, configuration management is preferable.
  • Experience gathering business needs and creating into workable outcomes
  • Experience in maintaining the knowledge base article and standard operating procedures.
  • Experience in different tools for remote support, release/deployment tools(Marimba/SCCM), Knowledge management tools(Confluence), Remedy/Service Now
  • Experience in Level 3 support experience and working with extended offshore team is an added advantage
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively, and communicate effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly growing environment
  • Strong team-player who has excellent collaboration and relationship skills and work with different team internally/externally
  • Provide full Desktop Support Services (hardware, software and mobile device)
  • Perform hardware -software and networking troubleshooting of PoS Devices like printers, windows 7 /10 work stations
  • Provide assistance in installation, reimage of windows 7/10 work stations
  • Develop and improve documentation to support problem analysis and resolution.
  • Flexible work hours

The successful candidate will:

– While performing duties of this job, the employee is frequently communicating with employees, co-workers, management staff and venues in a clear, business like and respectful manner.

– Required to constantly multi-task between two or more tasks and prioritize between these tasks while working under time limits in moderate to high pressure situations.

– This position also requires constant use of interpersonal skills including:ability to motivate, inform and foster collaboration and being able to openly communicate in writing and verbally with venues and POS Vendor.

– Requires ability to work on a task independently and frequently work as a part of a team for a variety of tasks.

Minimum education qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field.
