About the Role: Develop UI enhancements for large-scale applications in CrowdStrike’s Falcon platform using Splunk and JavaScript Enable data processing across our native UI and a variety of backend technologies Automate tasks using Python and assist in infrastructure projects Define security alerting logic for custom alerts Unify separate datasets to provide customers greater visibility of their security environments Constantly re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, user experience, performance, and stability.

Brainstorm and design collaboratively with members across multiple teams.

Be an energetic ” Self-starter” with the ability to take ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Respond to a changing threat landscape, rapidly prototyping tools which provide customers greater visibility into their environments You’ll use… Splunk/SPL dashboarding and backend knowledge HTML/CSS/JavaScript Vue Humio Python scripting Regex/parsing knowledge AWS Services (S3, SQS, IAM, EC2, etc.) Basic Linux experience (admin, BASH, troubleshooting) Git Atlassian SDLC tools Hadoop You will also have exposure to ….

ElasticSearch Golang programming VMWare Kafka Presto Cassandra Grafana What You’ll Need: Strong knowledge of Splunk search processing language (SPL), reporting, dashboards, and search acceleration techniques Ability to work across various backend technology stacks to create secure data ingestion pipelines Experience administering Splunk Previous roles as a Security Analyst or SIEM Engineer Experience scripting with the Splunk REST API and regular expressions.
