External US Job Summary: The Systems Intergration Engineering intern will work with subject matter experts to execute manual System Integration Test procedures for active development projects and review test results per defined checklist. They will also provide input for test procedure enhancements and modify and release test procedure updates. Essential Job Functions: Update, release, execute manual system integration test procedures per established processes Review test results Accountable and able to complete tasks on time by taking ownership for all task assignments Perform automated test script reviews Responsible and accountable for carrying out the requirements of the company’s quality system Knowledge and Experience: Working towards BS or MS in electrical, computer, software, or bio-engineering or related field Successful high school completion with strong grades in math & science Strong scripting experience in MATLAB, Python, etc. Experience developing and executing experimental or test protocols, and composing test plans and reports Experience with software tools: Must: Microsoft Office, Desired, but not mandatory: JIRA, Jama Experience using test equipment: Oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter, etc. Introductory signal and image processing desirable Structured programming experience desirable Hands-on experience with electronic laboratory equipment and instrument control highly desirable Good laboratory practices Skills and Abilities: Strong problem solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively both within other groups in Engineering and throughout the company. Ability to work in a fast-paced, small team environment with minimal supervision.
