Senior Test Automation Engineer-Remote

Mavensoft is looking for a strong Senior QA Automation Engineer for one of our direct client’s Engineering team for a long-term project. Working Job title Senior QA Automation Engineer Duration 1-year contract Location Hillsboro, OR Key Skills AWS, Adobe AEM, NO SQl, Mongo DB or DynamoDB and Node.js. Responsibilities coach team to transition to DevOps models and to learn to write, design, and execute manual functional, integration and regression tests once team is ready to transition to automation ndash create automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios coach and mentor team to write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases build manual and automated test frameworks log and document bugs in the tracking system prepare test strategy applying industry-accepted practices set metrics to measure the quality of delivery within the Xray reporting structure plan and control the testing process define the task lists for user acceptance testing, schedule testing activities help team to plan and prepare for releases Qualifications 5+ years software development experience strong coding, design, and analytic skills Xray (Jira), Python, and AWS serverless framework experience proficiency in developing manual and automated test frameworks Prior experience in designing and implementing robust web applications and working in Adobe AEM integration, Java, NodeJS code environments Experience working with NoSQL data stores like Cassandra, DynamoDB, or MongoDB Experience with web application front-end languages (e.g. React or Angular) Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests and regression tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.
