DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Take daily counts of inventory2. Answer customer calls3. Contact route driver and distributor of service needed in the field4. Help control and maintain ALL vault load outs and load sheet5. Verify company route returns and load outs6. Responsible for company route money verification7. Help control the cleanliness of dock office and dock loading area8. Make and assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.9. Judgment must be used in handling cash and checks, pricing, rotating and ordering stock. Errors could result in stock returns, lost customers and accounting problems. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:No lead or supervisory duties. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and calculate basic math. Minimum three months of retail experience. Must be able to operate cash register and use calculator (not by touch). WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to bend, lift and carry objects to stock shelves and on occasion move and cut block ice. Non-air conditioned work area with one open side exposed to temporary changes going in and out of cooler and vault. Hazards consists of working in unsecured area, slippery floors, temperature changes, heavy weights – 300 lb block ice and use of saw to cut ice. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
