7000_Warehouse_Shipping Receiving Clerk IOmak Facility, 1124 5th Avenue E, Omak, Washington, United States of AmericaReq #249Tuesday, June 15, 2021Shipping Receiving Clerk is expected to maintain professional customer service while scheduling trucks to pick up or drop off shipments.Process orders and receive incoming shipments in a timely manner.Enter Data in Company inventory database.Maintain Files from Outgoing and Incoming Purchase Orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for scheduling trucks to pick up shipments.

Ensure orders are processed per customer specifications and in a timely and accurate manner using FIFO.

Prepare shipping documents (i.e., bills of lading packing slips, etc.) and mailing labels.

Data entry of inventory into Company inventory database during physical cycle counts when required.

Validate adequate inventory levels on hand to meet outstanding orders.

Communicate with Lead, Manager & Customer Service, and sales department to ensure inventory availability for customer order requests.

Address and label packages.Look up and compute freight or postal rates.Record the weight and cost of each shipment.

Ensure all requisitions are completed and within budget.Apply cost savings practices when sourcing and purchasing supplies and services.

Maintain and track pallet inventory, purchases, and shipments.Ensure pallet specification and quality requirements are verified on every delivery and communicate to the quality department of any food safety issues.

Support unloading and loading of trailers when necessary.

Support the building of orders when necessary and there is time from other duties.

Provide accounting department shipping documents in a timely manner.

Determine whether orders have been filled correctly by verifying incoming shipments against the original order and the accompanying bill of lading or invoice.

Data entry of products received into Company inventory database.

Label products.

Contact Lead and/or Department Manage of any late or delayed incoming trucks.

Maintain Warehouse organization.

Deliver small packages to assigned departments.

Provide Shipping & Receiving documents to Accounting Department in a timely manner.

Maintain organized filing system for Shipping & Receiving records.

Populate Information on Shipping and Receiving boards.

Populate the PO Tracker in a timely manner.

Communicate and organize with Lead when breaks and lunches accurate to ensure adequate coverage.Adhere to a 30-minute lunch and 15-minute morning and 15-minute afternoon break per company guidelines.

Participate in inventory cycle counts.

Follow company GMP’s (good manufacturing practices) and all other quality programs.

Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required.

Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized.

Strictly adhere to all Safety policies.

LEAN ManufacturingKnowledge and Skills: Candidate must possess a strong working knowledge of systems having a high level of instrumentation and automation.

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices is beneficial.Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.

Ability to create momentum and foster organizational change.Bilingual in Spanish is beneficial.Must have a working knowledge of MS Word and MS PowerPoint software, and be proficient with MS Excel software.

Experience with Oracle is beneficial. Exceptional mechanical skills/aptitude.
