This is a Union position governed by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.BAE Systems in Keyport, WA, is seeking an experienced Supply Warehouse Worker who will Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, tools, or products and updates stock records of items in warehouse using walkie stacker/Big Joe, Work Asset Vehicle lift, or manual pallet jack.There is no relocation assistance available for this position. If relocation is necessary, the selected candidate must be willing to relocate at his/her own expense.Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Loads and unloads shipments at staging and receiving areasTransports material and items between receiving point and storage point manually or by using MHE and Company VehiclesSorts and places material in defined storage locations using identifying informationCounts and sorts incoming material to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoiceExamines received stock to verify conformance to specificationsFills requisitions or requests for materials other stock items for issue to requesterStores articles in bins, on floor or on shelves/racks, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of materialMaintains traceability to procurement documentationMay mark or remark materialsOpens containers using hand toolsAssembles orders from stock and marks items with identifying information Reads shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed. Prepares material for deliveryAssists with periodic, special, cyclic, or perpetual inventory of stockInputs data on adjustments of inventory counts to computerized stock records Notes spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipmentsMay mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articlesMay distribute stock keeping records of material issuedMay assemble, disassemble, move, place identifying markings on, or repair storage aidsMay be required to assemble crates or fiberboard boxes in preparation for loading/shipping materialMay drive a van, pick-up, or automobile to make local pick-up and deliveries Informs supervisor or other appropriate personnel of low stockPerforms minor and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and tools. Performs other tasking consistent with experienceMay provide assistance in other functional areas as required by the Lead/Manager
