This task requires the timely communication of test results and activities to ensure the continual quality of items in production. The Quality Inspector will also provide support in product audit testing on an ad hoc basis.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESQuality Assurance Testing* Perform product validation audits, ensuring products meet specifications.* Fully define, document, and report any defects found.* Maintain all Receiving Inspection Lab equipment and ensure proper working order.Quality Procedures* Support the Quality Assurance procedures per ISO 9001 standards.* Support QE in the creation of engineering change orders (ECR & ECN) as needed.* Create and modify Receiving Inspection Plans (RIPs) as required.* Work closely with all Operation and Engineering groups to continually improve processes.Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCEBasic Qualifications* A two year technical degree or the equivalent combination of training, experience, or certifications* Demonstrated ability to understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)* One year of relevant experience in high-tech electronics manufacturing with experience in Quality Control testing, Inspection, service repair, or similar skill function.* Documented ability to understand and follow technical instructions drafted in English for testing or repairing electronic equipment.* Demonstrated ability to work with delicate technical components in a manner that promotes safety and results in a high quality product* Proven competency in the operation of Coordinate Electronic Microscope, DMM’s, power supplies and other test equipment* Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deal effectively with conflicting prioritiesPreferred Qualifications* LSS Yellow Belt* Demonstrated strong ability with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas), Word, and ERP / MRP queries.* Documented ability to communicate complex technical issues within email or other written formats.* Documented time management skillsEMPLOYEE BENEFITSOur organization believes that an excellent benefits package demonstrates our commitment to the well-being and future development of our employees.
