Manufacturing Process Associate


This is a Contract position in Redmond, WA posted December 5, 2020.

Position Overview

We are looking to hire manufacturing automation associate for our client’s upcoming automated vaccine manufacturing plant in Woodinville, WA. The ideal candidate will have experience with or knowledge of operating and maintaining process manufacturing equipment – this includes maintenance of valves, pumps, various instrumentation, PLCs, and other associated components.

During the procurement phase, the candidate is expected to spend a minimum of 3 months at our client’s vendor location in India. This stay will involve getting familiar with the equipment and getting trained on various aspects of the operation and maintenance of the process equipment. The end of the stay will include the Factory Acceptance Test, followed by the Site Acceptance Test at Woodinville, WA. Once the equipment has been manufactured, shipped, and commissioned, the candidate will be expected to be on-site at our Woodinville, WA location. There may be additional short-term travel to other vendor locations around the world, on an as-needed basis.


  • Assisting other team-members in starting/running process equipment
  • Oversight and maintenance of all process equipment
  • Various daily operations activities – CIP/SIP/scheduled checks/maintenance/calibrations/etc.
  • Maintain equipment/batch logbooks and other associated documentation/forms/etc.
  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by following cGMP
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems in process equipment
  • Strict adherence to all applicable SOPs, guidelines, and safety protocols
  • Willingness to work in shifts during production runs


  • Associates degree in any related field to the above responsibilities, or equivalent experience.
  • Biotech industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic chemistry
  • Good level of physical fitness
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Work with minimal supervision
