Manufacturing Technician

Description:Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to):Support manufacturing process teams and maintain PPE stocks for daily operations.Daily collection of process waste.

and discarding safely.Operate dishwasher and wash manufacturing process material as needed.Upkeep washer room.Perform weekly safety equipment checks of eyewash fire extinguishers and safety shower.Sterilization load patterns to follow and operate autoclave with materials needed for sterilization.Unload autoclave and distribute materials in lab and shelves.Maintain stock of clean autoclave materials in the manufacturing suites.Prepare needed media and buffers in accordance with SOPs.Clean and organize chemical/prep room.Clean and organize media preparation room.Calibrate balances in media preparation room.Organize lab facility maintaining proper organization and cleanliness.Daily monitoring and periodic cleaning of lab equipment incubators, water baths etc.Check HPLC eluate bin, recycle, and garbage bins as necessary.Collect biohazard waste from labs and place in allotted Stericycle bins.Maintaining a stock of:supplies, process requirementsAutoclave supplies (sterilization indicator tape, Tyvek pouches, elastic bands, etc.)PPE supplies: shoe covers, lab coats, beard nets, hair nets disposable gloves.Other duties as required.Qualifications and Education Requirements:A.A.
