As part of a diversified marketing team, you’ll support operations leadership to improve communications and processes across operations and align internal and external resources with management priority actions and generate optics on bid activities and results.

This position will also work closely with our Service Line Leaders and Large Client Account managers on special projects that will include market research, development of qualification packages, and client outreach.

For select targeted large pursuits, the Senior Marketing Specialist must take a leadership role to guide pursuit teams through positioning and capture planning, proposal development, interview stages and post award client debriefs.

This is a dynamic position that requires strategic thinking, flexibility, planned and proactive approaches, and the ability to shift priorities frequently while maintaining attention to detail and achieving high quality standards.

The Senior Marketing Specialist must be able to prioritize, multi-task, function effectively under multiple deadlines and time constraints, schedule workload, manage time efficiently and follow tasks through to completion.What You’ll Do:Develop and maintain a resource-loaded scheduling process that utilizes marketing staff, administrative and technical staff, interns, and external consultants to execute prioritized actions set by operations leadership under the direction of the National Marketing DirectorIdentify, train, and assign as needed select administrative and technical staff that can be activated from a “reserve pool” to support regular marketing and business development staff during surge periods.

This pool of resources may be called on to collect, write, and strategically edit resumes, project descriptions, firm profiles, and other content as required for proposal productionWork with corporate IT, WTR Finance and others to improve BD portal processes, data analytics and summary performance opticsDevelop actionable strategies for specific client opportunities in advance of RFPs, including market research, opportunity tracking, and capture planningReview complex RFP language and develop proposal outlines to ensure complianceWork as needed with Business Unit Service Line Leaders, Large Client Account Managers, national/regional marketing managers and operations leadership in pre-positioning activities, including the research and characterization of funding priorities and grant programs for federal agencies, states, and municipalitiesFor select targeted high-profile pursuits, create, and manage the proposal development schedule, and coordinate with technical and support staff to keep all tasks moving forwardRequest, compile, and review information from teaming partnersCoordinate the development and oversight of virtual booths and electronic brochures in support of Service Line and Operation Leadership following Tetra Tech’s branding guidelinesAs needed, provide support for proposal layout, proofing, complete proposal closeout process to capture newly created content and materials for future useYou’ll Bring These Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of A/E/C industry marketing experience, primarily focused on proposal developmentExperience preparing large complex proposals a must (previous experience with SF330s and other government forms is a plus)Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field desiredExcellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding interpersonal skillsSuperior organizational skills and keen attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphereAbility to shift priorities and delegate as needed to keep all tasks on scheduleProficient in Microsoft office and Adobe InDesignWhat We Can Offer You:Competitive benefitsProfessional Registration and MembershipTuition ReimbursementEmployee Stock Purchase Plan About Tetra Tech: Tetra Tech combines the resources of a global, multibillion-dollar company with local, client-focused delivery in more than 400 locations around the world.
