Electronic Technician III (Trojan/Prophet) – C4ISR RSC, JBLM, WA with Security Clearance

REQ#: RQ79084 Travel Required: 10-25% Public Trust: NACI (T1) Requisition Type: Regular GDIT has an exciting opportunity available for a Intelligence / Electronic Warfare (IEW) Trojan/Prophet Electronic Technician III at JBLM, WA. Must have a current and active TS/SCI clearance. Fabricates, installs, maintains, and repairs electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment. Travels to various sites to perform repairs and troubleshoot problems. Prepares incident/performance reports and trainings for customers. This position requires individuals who are self-motivated, suitably experienced, qualified, and able to follow instructions. Specific systems may include Trojan Spirit II (V)2/3, Trojan Spirit LITE (V)1/2/3, and Prophet T-LITE. Role Responsibilities: * Perform all aspects of Prophet systems troubleshooting and repair to include communications-electronics, computer systems, sensor systems, SATCOM systems, optics, LAN and data communications, configuration and maintenance of servers, routers, switches, multiplexers, workstations and peripherals.
* Performs inspections of system components, preventive maintenance, testing and troubleshooting of modules and circuit cards to the line replaceable unit (LRU).
* Performs moderately complex technical functions such as set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems.
* Use specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, millimeters, power meters and DC power supplies to support products or product performance to validate, investigate and resolve matters of significance. * Read and interpret schematic and engineering drawings and diagrams. Perform operational test and return to service checks.
* Performs a range of technical tasks and provides site support.
* Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
* Troubleshoots a range of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
* Performs a range of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
* Prepares and presents a range of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.
* Provides advice and a range of onsite training for customer support personnel.
* May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
* TDY may be required. The Ideal Candidate must have: * A current and active U.S. Government TS/SCI clearance.
* Valid drivers license (Washington State)
