Maintenance Planner/Scheduler
Bothell, WA

Maintenance planning is tactical in nature. It takes a project management perspective and is the process of establishing the sequence and relationship of a series of actions and requirements prior to maintenance work commencing, along with procuring and providing the parts and resources needed to deliver the expected result.

Responsibilities:

  • Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
  • Occasionally lead teams, projects or administer processes with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity and be responsible for the results.
  • Identify and interpret maintenance issues; apply procedures, practices and technical experience to resolve problems; ensure all maintenance is documented in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
  • Communicates with internal customers, management, colleagues and Operations Managers regarding issues, project completion timelines and workload priorities.
  • Willingness to work in a multi-skilled team environment.

Duties:

  • Vendor management
  • On call rotation
  • Follow all applicable SOPs
  • Ensuring that the data within the CMMS remains up-to-date
  • Facilitating workflows within the CMMS
  • Provide periodic system audits to best practices and internal SOPS
  • Work with the Onboarding coordinator to ensure new equipment is scheduled for all calibration and maintenance
  • Responsible for overseeing the activities of contractors working within the building either as representatives of the building itself or tenants operating within the buildings.

Qualifications

  • Requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise in facility maintenance planning/scheduling methodologies, practices and procedures; multiple areas of Federal, State and Local Regulatory Codes; change control management; project and asset management.
  • At least 5-years of experience performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various facility-related systems, including: HVAC, Compressed Air, Electrical, Potable/Waste/Sewer Water, Cooling Towers, Plant Steam and various Fire/Life/Safety Systems; at least 3-years of experience supporting laboratory operations and assets.
  • 5-years of experience with BMRAM and/or Maximo Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
  • Ability to lift 50-lbs; climb fixed and portable ladders; basic hand and power tools
