Electro Mechanical Maintenance Technician – $5,000 Sign on Bonus

This is a Contract position in Sumner, WA posted August 3, 2021.

Electro/Mechanical Maintenance Technician Reports to: Director of Maintenance and Engineering JOB DESCRIPTION Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

Essential Functions Primary activities include but not limited to: Analyzes equipment/systems throughout the plant on improvements, specifications, designs to maintain and improve to offer effective uptime and continuous improvement.

Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

A working knowledge of one or more industrial networking systems (e.g.

Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and DeviceNet, including configuration is required.

Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical and electrical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems; servo drives, press controls, panel views, robotic controllers and electrical programs.

Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.

Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks.

Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Utilizes Maintenance Work Order Management system to record work history and labor reporting.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Comply with all safety policies, procedures and good work practices Participates in audits where assigned (Safety, GMP, 5S, etc.) Job Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must have high school diploma or equivalent Must have at least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment Must know and follow standard safety practices Must be willing to work flexible and variable schedules and shifts Ability to deal with uncertainty Attention to detail Ability to multi-task Flexibility in responsibilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks is required.

Electromechanical troubleshooting.

PLC install and replacement.

PLC diagnostics and program interpretation.

PC based diagnostics and program interpretation.

Robotic control and feedback device troubleshooting.

Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement.

Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives and motors, bearings, fasteners and fittings, hardware.

Control knowledge Field device knowledge, such as smart eyes, photo eyes, micro switches, proximity devices, encoders, reed sensors, ultrasonic, retroflective and reflective etc.

Motor diagnostics in practice.

PLC ladder logic interpretation.

Electrical control safety devices and installations.

Frequency drives installs and troubleshooting.

Process equipment control knowledge for troubleshooting and installations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, with the typical work schedule of 4, 12 hr days/nights on a 2,2,3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on) which rotates The shifts are either 5 a.m.

to 5 p.m.

or 5 p.m.

to 5 a.m.

Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

The employee will follow all food safety policies and requirements: Will follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.

Will support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the CraftMark Bakery Food Safety and Quality Systems.

Will be accountable to the CraftMark Bakery Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.?
