Whatever your need, from white-linen presentation to casual family dining, our procurement experts will find the best-quality options that work for your budget and pack-size needs, carefully selected from our extensive meat assortment.The Regional Manager Facilities Maintenance provides direction and guidance for the management, maintenance, and repair of the Region production equipment and work with Facilities group on the building and grounds. Responsible for 3 – 5 facilities in assigned region. Oversee and work in home base facility and support maintenance tech’s in the Region.This candidate must live within our West Region- that includes: Spokane, WA; Tukwila, WA; Las Vegas, NV; So. Cal; Phoenix, AZ; Tucson, AZEssential Duties and Responsibilities:* Oversees, leads, and motivates a team 3-5 maintenance technicians that are working in facilities within their Region. Manager will provide direction and guidance for the management, maintenance, and repair of facilities production equipment.* Work with Risk Management, and our insurance carrier, addressing critical items and recommendations made during carrier audits.* Develops and provides guidance and direction on the successful implementation of maintenance plans .* Provide hands on assessments of the company’s production equipment in assigned areas to provide day to day operational improvements.* Work with on-site operations associates to protect the company’s assets through planned proactive preventative maintenance and end of life replacement schedule.* Respond to the facilities’ unplanned maintenance needs in a timely fashion.* Develop annual region-level long-range capital maintenance, improvements, and replacement plans.* Develop disaster recovery plans for facilities to reduce or prevent shutdowns due to unplanned events.* Responsible for hiring maintenance mechanics in assigned region.* Overnight travel required to facilities in their Region.Education/Training:* High School Diploma or GED required* Certification as a mechanic, professional engineer or a certified facility manager is preferred, but not requiredRelated Experience:* 5 years experience repairing and maintaining food production equipmentKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must be able to qualify, review and select contractors to provide outside services; must possess expert knowledge in the operation and maintenance of production equipment. Knowledge of HVAC systems for refrigerated and frozen storage systems is preferred. Must be able to understand the needs of the operation side of the business and adjust the facility to support such operations and be able to recommend facility changes to improve operation, reduce downtime or to save on maintenance costs; must possess thorough knowledge of facilities maintenance and how to proactively maintain the health of an asset; must have demonstrated ability to make critical decisions based on a data-supported business cases; strong written, technical, and verbal communication skills, strong analytical skills, and computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, and facility related software are all required.#LI-BB1* EOE Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity/National Origin/Protected Veteran/Disability Status*
