Quality Production Technician 3 (QM – MQ – MAQUA – TE11)

This is a Full-time position in Issaquah, WA posted March 22, 2021.

This position will be part of the Catheter Development team and will support New Product Introduction projects.

Job Responsibilities for this position includes:
* Inspection support including, but not limited to Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, Final Product Inspection, and Quality Documentation and Records activities. Inspection methods include visual inspection, use of mechanical tools, use of optical microscopes and vision system inspections.
* Support project teams to ensure established product/component requirements are met.
* Provide component and material inspections in a timely manner to ensure R&D schedules are met.
* Creates measurement and testing records and makes them available for further analyses.
* Creates first sample qualification reports for development and component engineering and prepares necessary prequalification.
* Supports setting up new test equipment and measurement tools.
* Provides and ensures the testing of material and products in the assigned unit according inspection plans and internal guidelines.
* Initiates escalations in case of failures to the cross functional teams.

Previous work experience for this position includes:
* Experience inspecting precision parts
* Proficient at reading and understanding mechanical drawings and detailed parts specifications (ASME Y14.5, ASME Y14.1)
* Competent experience with basic computer applications
* Experience with basic data analysis tools (e.g.,Excel, Minitab) preferred
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills
* Experience creating First Article Inspection report type documentation preferred
* Knowledge / Experience operating MicroVu vision system (or similar) a plus
* Has a strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
* Able to work with limited supervision
* Able to manage multiple priorities and deliverables to meet project schedule needs
* Two-year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in the medical device manufacturing environment preferred

In Technical Areas: Incumbents deliver specialized support service towards (internal and external) customers – i.e. in maintenance, local on-site construction solutions, technical development or testing support, etc.

Typical positions: Floor Assembly Technician, Maintenance Technician, Management Assistant Additional specialized qualification + 4 to 8 years exp. needed

Has theoretical understanding and broader practical skills in the related field of work and needs to apply practical methods, concepts and techniques, work procedures and processes.
