Survey Technician

AHBL is looking for a Survey Technician in our Tacoma office who is eager to shape their own future and grow with our expanding company.n n What You Will Don n This position is for those who enjoy projects that are exciting and challenging.

Utilizing AutoCAD and Civil 3D you will draft detailed topographic survey base maps, short and long plat maps, and other survey exhibits used in planning and construction of land survey projects.

You will be responsible for daily processing of field notes, and the preparation of survey drawings on a variety of projects.n n What You Bringn n You are self-motivated and eager to learn and grow in the profession.

You are passionate about providing exceptional client services.

You bring strong technical abilities, can work independently and think creatively.n n What We Wantn Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D 5+ years of experience in a land survey office environment Ability to independently research land records and prepare legal descriptions and exhibit maps for easements.

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain clearance to work on military installations.
