Our client is currently seeking a IT Support / A/V Support Technician to apply their skills in the audio/video/collaboration space by providing support for small to large company meetings, managing A/V inventory, as well as maintaining existing conference rooms.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Implement and operate solutions for a multi-site, highly dynamic enterprise communications environment Maintain standards for conference room types
Assist in management of audio/video projects, including expenses and budget, from bid process through project completion
Any additional responsibilities assigned by management
Provide A/V support/production for large company events (Town Halls and other company wide events)
Maintain documentation and inventory for A/V systems
Research new, innovative audio/video solutions
Technical escalation point for A/V related issues; identifies and oversees root cause resolution efforts
Qualifications & Requirements: 3+ years of experience supporting audio/video services 2+ years of livestreaming support experience 2+ years of customer support experience Hands on experience with terminations, diagnostic tools, cabling, and hand tools Knowledge of DSPs, signal flow and routing, AV controllers, and installed AV systems Ability to prioritize, execute, and make sound decisions in a high-pressure environment Ability to document standard work and cross-train as needed Able to quickly adapt to fast changing priorities and deadlines
