Wildlife Control Technician

This is a Contract position in Galvin, WA posted July 16, 2021.

Job Purpose:
Resolves wildlife/human conflicts by modifying habitat; providing property damage control measures; handling wildlife; repairing damages.

Duties:
Construct wildlife exclusions. Check traps and eviction devices. Repair damages. Assist other technicians as needed.

Identifies species of animal responsible for property damage by searching area for animal tracks, leavings, and other evidence.

Recommends solutions to property owners explaining extent of damage, animal capabilities, and necessary preventative measures.

Prevent property damage by advising owners of methods to safeguard property; erecting fences and barricades. Adjusting vegetation. Modifying landscape, and fortifying homes.

Complete bids and invoices and collect payments.

give presentations to civic groups, operate booths at fairs and expos

Useful skills that we can teach you: Jobsite Safety, Mobile App operations, Knowledge of Animal Behavior, Animal Handling, tracking/hunting/trapping, Salesmanship, Carpentry, Masonry, Ladder use. Powertools, wood metal stone and concrete working.

Requirements that we need you to already have, or develop quickly on your own: Driver’s license, Ambition, Personal appearance and grooming, Honesty, Work ethic, group participation, Personal Integrity. Attention to Detail, Verbal Communication, Presentation.
