nnManpower is currently looking for Maintenance Mechanics for a facility in Anacortes WA!

Schedules: Day, swing and graveyard shifts available (schedules will be discussed during interview) Pay: $16.00
– $20.00+/ hour DOE Job Description: Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

Essential Functions: Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Repairs or replaces defective parts.Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.Lubricates and cleans parts, equipment, and machinery.Tests and adjusts equipment to meet performance specifications.Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, saws, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.Sharpens and reshapes tools as necessary.Initiates purchase order for parts and machines.Repairs electrical equipment.Maintains a flexible schedule to accommodate variable shifts ranging from 4
– 18 hours depending on maintenance workload.Additional Responsibilities: Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.May participate and train with HazMat team.
