Accountemps is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk. Great career growth potential and a great benefits package are available to candidates interested in joining this quickly growing accounting team. Entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L will be among the Accounts Receivable Clerk’s duties. Candidates who are self-starters and who have high attention to detail will be the best fit for this Accounts Receivable Clerk position, since they will handle 200+ invoices a week. This is a short-term temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Puyallup, Washington area.

What you get to do every single day

– Take care of payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

– Present information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

– Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

– Represent and exude the values, culture, and mission of the organization

– Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

– Settle bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a variety of ledgers

– Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues

– Corroborate documents and codes

Job Requirements:
– Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

– Detailed and have the ability work independently

– Proficiency in billing

– Billing Functions experience

– Bill Payment experience highly preferred

– Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

– Adeptness in Billing Statements

– Expertise in customer service

– Earlier work involving Microsoft Office

– Practical knowledge of Religious Education

– Comprehension of new accounts

– General familiarity with Tuition

– Good understanding of Programs Outlook

– Demonstrated knowledge of Correct Billing

– Background working with Collecting Payments

– Previous experience working with Excel Formulas

– Foundational knowledge in AIA Billing

– Microsoft Excel experience highly valued

– Knowledgeable of ERP systems

– AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired

– 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable
