Alliance Nursing: Rn/Lpn | New Grads Welcome | Vent & Trach Training Provided | One Shift/Week

Alliance Nursing

This is a Contract position in Graham, WA posted February 2, 2021.

Job DescriptionAs a pediatric nurse, we are sure you can understand what it might be like to try to imagine having a child born with life-threatening or chronic condition. In Washington state, hundreds of families face this reality. However, when a family is under-insured or has no insurance, they rely on the Medicaid program to help them with the medical costs. And as a result, this can impact their abilities to be able to secure enough nurses to help provide the on-going care their child needs due to the more attractive wages offered by private healthcare organizations like hospitals. In fact, unless there are enough nurses ready to help a family out, a child will stay in the hospital, often for months, waiting for agencies like ours to recruit and hire enough staff to help get that little one discharged on their way home. And even though the work is challenging finding a team of amazing men and women who believe like us that healthcare should be available to all regardless of their insurance status, the results are immeasurable.Because helping us, even if it’s one shift a week, is life-changing for these children and their families. One day shift is 8-10 hours a parent has to take care of themselves, spend a day at a job earning money for their family, or take care of the other children in the home.New grads or nurses looking for a change in careers often look into private duty nursing because it is truly an opportunity to get back to the roots of nursing by taking care of someone who really needs you. It’s a job with purpose and noticeable impact. And if you don’t think you have the skills to do this don’t worry. If you have the heart, we will provide you with all of the training you need from some of the best and most experienced nurses in the State at this very special kind of nursing. So, what can you help us with?We have a trach/vent dependent pediatric in the Graham area and we are looking for a private duty home health nurses (RN’s or LPN’s) who is available for any of the following shifts:DAY: Saturday, 8 10 hour shift, flexible on shift time! ONE SHIFT! Ready to help us make a difference in this family’s life? Just use our easy application to introduce yourself and we look forward to meeting you!Alliance Nursing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
