Travel the country and make an impact on communities in need! AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a residential service program for 18-26-year-olds who want to serve on a tight-knit team while making a difference across the United States. AmeriCorps members in the NCCC Traditional Corps program deploy to one of our training locations, then travel with a team of 8-12 other young adults throughout their assigned region for 10 months of full-time, immersive service. You could be doing anything from building a house to running a youth summer program to repairing hiking trails in a national forest, so openness to new experiences is key. You’ll also undergo intensive training at the beginning of your service to prepare you for the adventure ahead and take on leadership roles and specialized assignments along the way.
